More than just a garden. Or literally: Where the fox and the hare bid each other ’goodnight’.

The 4000 m² property offers plenty of greenery, trees, and unspoiled nature. No neighbors, no other guests.

Directly in front of the apartment's living room is the terrace with a comfortable seating area, perfect for al fresco dining during the warmer months. Relax in one of the two lounge chairs. With our two outdoor blankets and appropriate clothing, you can also enjoy the sun during the winter months.

Late Winter/Early Spring
From early spring onwards, you can hear birdsong and then observe them foraging for food for their young well into summer.

Summer
Most of the hillside meadow is a so-called "nutrient-poor meadow," meaning it is not fertilized and grows slowly. Here, all sorts of insects, such as bees, bumblebees, butterflies, and crickets, find sustenance among the flowering wildflowers. It is mowed only once or twice a year with a sickle bar mower. Then the air is filled with the wonderful scent of thyme and hay.

Autumn
Sugar maple, cinnamon maple, sweetgum, flowering dogwood, and blueberries: The garden boasts a plethora of shrubs and trees with vibrant autumn foliage, now in full bloom.

Winter
When there's snow—usually in January or February — you really notice how many wild animals roam the property. You'll see the tracks of deer, hares, and birds. There's a bird feeder on the patio for the latter, so you can observe nuthatches, tits, woodpeckers, and other birds from the living room.

As secluded as our location is, depending on the wind direction, you can also hear sounds from the surrounding area, such as the church bells of Waldkirchen or even from the road 600 meters away as the crow flies.
